Mahendra Chaudhry, Opposition leader and former Prime Minister blamed Canberra for maintaining double standards and working to raise poverty in Fiji.
Chaudhry stated that the Australia's $18 million in direct aid is just peanuts.
He also pointed out Canberra's unwillingness to reduce the rules of source entrance as required by Fiji textile exporters under the SPARTECA trade agreement.
The trade balance inevitably goes in Australia's favour, which has owes a moral responsibility to support least developed countries such as Fiji, he added.
In addition, he also critised Australia of damaging Fiji's sugar industry, which could result loss of 30,000 jobs.
