Syrian delegation invite investments

Syrian trade delegates from textile, clothing, and electric sector headed by Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah al-Dardari, visited China on July 9. They expressed keen interest to develop cooperation with Chinese enterprises in all kinds of fields.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, Syria is now expanding its trade arena and inviting Chinese enterprises to take advantage of favourable investing situations like low tax and transparent system.

Abdullah further welcomed establishments like Chinese Industrial City and Science and Technology Park, which would attract more companies to invest and produce in Syria.

Statistics reveal that during the first four months of this year, trade value between China and Syria was US $578 million, with a rise rate of 67 percent compared to the same period of last year.
