More than 57 percent of the German companies in Bulgaria are planning to increase their investments and open new branches. Of the total, 77 percent of the companies wanted to increase their annual turnover.
These estimates were announced during the meeting between Prime Minister Stanishev and managers of leading German companies.
Some of the biggest German investors are Allianz, METRO Group, Heidelberger Cement, E.oN, Liebherr, Siemens, Kaufland, Festo, Willi Betz, Lindner International and many more.
As a matter of fact Germany is one of the major trade partners of Bulgaria providing markets for goods like textile and machines. On the other hand some of the most important German goods exchanged with Bulgaria are chemicals and machines.
