According to Quality Supervision Department, new quality measures for the denim clothing will be implemented by the month end. This version added a fresh set of standards for formaldehyde content, pH and several other mandatory testing indicators.

The new standards strictly limited formaldehyde content usage in the denim clothing. For example, the formaldehyde content standard for infant and children denim clothing should be lower than 20 milligram per kilogram, for higher age group it must be less than 75 milligram per kilogram.

The usage of decomposable aromatic amine dye will be banned according to the news standards. The denim clothings are not allowed to have odors of any kind.
