Haryana to become key industrial sector

After inaugurating the Footwear Park on December 22, established over area of 615 acres with an investment worth Rs60 crore, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Chief Minister of Haryana, stated that the town of Bahadurgarh would be developed as an industrial sector on lines of Gurgaon.

This would attract investors and generate 28,000 employment opportunities for the citizens.

Already, a total of 615 plots in sector 16 and 17 have been disbursed to business entrepreneurs who have invested a sum of about Rs1,009 crore to set up industrial units.

A sum of Rs22.40 crore has been catered for the first phase of development and according to the plan; sector 18 would start developing in the second phase, while sector 43 would be taken up in the third and the final phase.

Chief Minister assured the investors that the problem of power shortage in the state would be efficiently dealt within a couple of years as new means of generating electricity has been introduced to Haryana.
