The Continental Enterprises to expand its production units

The Continental Enterprises based in Tamil Nadu, one of the leading manufacturers and exporter of coco products, is planning to expand its already efficient production capacity.

Presently, the company houses two coco fibre production units with capacity of 5 metric tons fiber per day. Besides, it also has two curled coir units having similar capacity.

In an exclusive interview with Fibre2fashion, Mr Anbalagan, General Manager of Exports, Continental Enterprise said, “The Company has established a new production plant for cured fibre yarn in Burgar, which is around 50 kilometers from Bangalore. Machineries for the plant are purchased from the domestic market of Kerela and the unit is expected to produce over 15 metric tons of fibre per month.”

Furthermore, Mr Anbalagan also confided saying, “Collaboration with Dutch company has already been made and the estimated investment is around €5,00,000 aiming to give a RHP standard quality for their products. A turnover of Rs4-5 crore is likely to be yielded from the production."
