The Acting Minister of Oil, Chairman of KPC's Board of Directors, Mr. Mohammad Al Olaim stressed that the Ministry has been working in complete transparency, clarity and professionalism to ensure fairness amongst all staff members.
Al Olaim added, in reply to the allegations raised by Member of the Parliament Mr. Saad Al Johar- concerning the latest Oil Sector Recruitments- that this process was done according to the highest standards and measures and extreme objectivity.
He added that the new changes were made after discussions and consultations with the participation of oil leaders. Moreover, best practice cases and similar international experiences in organizing the oil sectors have been followed.
The Minister of Oil said that the rotation amongst the Managing Directors is a global trend which is followed in all international organizations and that the rotation does not necessarily follow the field of specialty or specific experiences, rather it depends on the managerial and leadership skills gained during their career.
