Going into the third round of talks with China, the United States Trade Representative's official website carries statement of US negotiator David Spooner statement:
"The third round of talks with the Chinese aimed at reaching a broader agreement on textiles will continue this evening.
"We have made good progress in our discussions over the past couple of days and, although we still have differences, we feel that additional time to work on the issues would be beneficial.”
