General Department of Customs, Vietnam, recently issued a Notification No 1717/TCHQ-GSQL to eradicate some procedures and documents in applying for C/O (Certificate of Origin) issuance on textile and apparel products for export purposes.

Experts believe that, this abolishment will pave favorable conditions for C/O issuance in exporting various textile related products, and it will also save time of the entrepreneurs. As a result, the consignments will reach on time and in turn will build a good image of textile industry in international market.

In Vietnam, the General department of Customs awards the textile and apparel exporters who show good performances in exports.
