Zhejiang & Jia Provinces lead in MMF output

Man-made fibre production of China recorded 1,461,200 tons in September and it reflects annual growth of 19.9 percent.

This growth was slightly below the all-time record high production of 1,462,200 tons in June 2005. From January to September, total MMF production totaled 11,652,200 tons.

Zhejiang province dominated as the center for production growth returning with over one-third of man-made fibre production in September.

Production in September increased 30.96 percent and reached 595,600 tons. The second largest registered growth was by Jiangsu Province, which reported rise by 6.95 percent touching 415,600 tons.

Sichuan has recorded the fastest growth in production during September, up 122.28 percent reaching 40.9 million tons.

Other centers like Jilin, Hebei, Jiangxi and Hubei have also recorded considerable growth in production.
