In fact, Secretary Textile Board Masood Aalam Rizvi met textile industry representatives last week, and sought details about the problems faced by them, while assuring all support and facilities for their progress.
Recently, members of the Pakistan textile industry conducted study visit to Bangladesh and found that country offering special sops, uninterrupted power, infrastructure that has lured several Pakistani industrialists to plan and to establish textile units there.
Government of Pakistan now attempts to seek out and solve the teething issues faced by textile industry. It will take necessary steps after due review of the incentives and benefits provided by the Bangladeshi government that has ignited the 'flight to fancy' of Pakistan's textile businessmen.
