Spain’s monthly variation of the seasonally- and calendar-adjusted general retail trade index (RTI) at constant prices between August and September was 0.2 per cent—a tenth lower than the index in the previous month. The index for non-food products rose by 0.6 per cent.In September, the general RTI saw a variation of 0.1 per cent year on year with similar adjustments, according to an official release.
All distribution classes showed negative monthly rates, except for large chain stores, which increased by 0.7 per cent. Small chain stores registered the greatest decrease of minus 1.3 per cent.
