Spain's HBCI falls by 2.9% in Q4 2022 compared with Q3

Spain’s harmonised business confidence index (HBCI) decreased by 2.9 per cent in the fourth quarter of this year compared with Q3. Among business establishments, 15.5 per cent foresee a favourable fourth quarter and 27.3 per cent are pessimistic about business performance. The remaining 57.2 per cent thought that it would be normal, according to the government.

Closee to a fifth of business establishment managers had expressed a favourable opinion regarding the performance of their business in the third quarter this year and 22.4 per cent had expressed an unfavourable opinion.
