Spain's annual consumer inflation fell for the second consecutive month in September due to a drop in electricity prices, according to flash estimates released by the country’s National Statistics Institute (INE) recently. Consumer prices in September rose by 9 per cent year on year (YoY), down from a 10.5 per cent increase in August. July witnessed a 38-year high of 10.8 per cent rise."This development is mainly due to the decrease in electricity prices, which increased in September 2021," an INE statement said.
