Turkiye’s gross domestic product (GDP) with chain-linked volume index increased by 3.9 per cent in the third quarter (Q3) this year compared with the same quarter last year. The GDP was 4 trillion 258 billion 168 million TRY at current prices in Q3 2022. Export of goods and services increased by 12.6 per cent, and imports increased by 12.2 per cent during the quarter.Financial and insurance activities increased by 21.6 per cent in Q3. The value added increased by 0.3 per cent in the industry.
Seasonally- and calendar-adjusted GDP decreased by 0.1 per cent in Q3 2022 compared with the previous quarter. Calendar-adjusted GDP increased by 3.6 per cent compared with Q3 last year.
