Turkiye’s gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 7.6 per cent year over year (YoY) in the second quarter (Q2) this year, according to Turkstat, which recently said financial and insurance activities increased by 26.6 per cent in the quarter. Exports of goods and services increased by 16.4 per cent YoY in the quarter, while such imports increased by 5.8 per cent.The value-added increased by 7.8 per cent in the industry.
GDP reached TRY 3.418967 trillion at current prices in the quarter—an increase of 114.6 per cent.
