A cracker operated by Chandra Asri at Cilegon in Indonesia will be shutdown under a planned maintenance schedule in the fourth quarter of 2011.
An official informed fibre2fashion that the cracker with an ethylene production capacity of 600,000 barrels / day will stay shut, somewhere between October and November.
He also added that the cracker will remain off-stream for a period of 45 days and currently the cracker is operating at capacity rates.
