China's imports of paraxylene (PX) registered 345,700 tons in June 2011, a reduction of 56,800 tons compared with May or down 14.11 percent.
However, when compared with the same month of the previous year, it rose by 65,000 tons or 23.15 percent.
June average import price stood at $938.92 / ton, down 42.09 percent from the average import price of $1621.33 / ton in May.
