The ethylene-propylene plant of Azerikimya has been closed for upgradation by State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
Upgradation at the plant of Azerikimya, which is a chemical sub-company of SOCAR, is expected to continue for about a month.
The improvements will include upgradation of mechanical and electrical equipment, and technological advancements including automation systems.
The work will be undertaken by specialized teams from different divisions of Azerikimya such as repair & construction, mechanical & repair and transport departments.
