Paraxylene price faced marginal upward correction in Asian markets and stood around US$ 1655/ton. In S E Asian region, price was quoted in between US$ 1650/ton to US$ 1655/ton. In the F E Asian market, price hovered in the range of US$ 1650/ton to US$ 1660/ton. In Chinese market, price went down to US$ 1655/ton.
In S E Asia, PTA price opened with firm sentiment. In Chinese market, PTA trading price hovered around RMB 9800/ton but offer price hovered in between RMB 9800/ton to RMB 9850/ton. In Asian market, PTA price remained range bound in between US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1275/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was around US$ 1275/ton.
Ethylene price declined to US$ 1165/ton in S E Asian market. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1165/ton to US$ 1170/ton. In European domestic market, price was in the range of € 985/ton to € 990/ton, and in imported goods it was in between US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1405/ton. In U.S.A market selling offers for Ethylene was in the range of 61.65 cents/pound to 62.15 cents/pound.
MEG price waned in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG stabilized to around US$ 1235/ton to US$ 1245/ton and in domestic Chinese market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9550/ton.
BGPET Chips price remained stable in S E Asian region in tandem with feedstock prices and was assessed between US$ 1725/ton to US$ 1735/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1730/ton for exportable goods. In Chinese market BG PET Chip was at RMB 12900/ton.
FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets stayed unchanged between US$ 1610/ton to US$ 1620/ton and in Indian market; it was assessed in the range of US$ 1600/ton to US$ 1610/ton. In Chinese market FG PET Chip was at RMB 12450/ton to RMB 12550/ton.
PSF price opened with firm sentiment after an interval in N E Asian market. PSF offers hovered in the range of US$ 1940/ton to US$ 1945/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1940/ton. In Chinese domestic market PSF offers were in the range of RMB 13100/ton to RMB 13250/ton.
Polyester yarn prices in Chinese domestic market remain unchanged. Offers for POY and FDY were at RMB 14200/ton and RMB 14250/ton. Selling offers for DTY were stable around RMB 16050/ton. In export market offers for POY, FDY and DTY were respectively at US$ 1935/ton, 1925/ton and US$ 2185/ton.
