A PET plant operated by Novapet based in Barbastro, Spain will be shut down for maintenance from September 1, a company official revealed to fibre2fashion.
Novapet operates three PET plants with a capacity of 130,000 tons per annum, 100,000 tons per annum and 30,000 tons per annum, totaling to 260,000 tons.
The plant with a capacity of 100,000 tons per year will be shutdown for a scheduled maintenance in mid-September for a period of one month.
He further informed that the other two plants are running at full capacity rates and there is no planned maintenance for those two plants in 2011.
