China's spot market of caprolactam (CPL) imports was weak on Monday owing to limited market supply. Cargo holders were reluctant to sell at lower prices and offers were made around US$ 3600-3630/ton, CFR China main port with L/C of 90 days.

Downstream buying was poor with isolated bids for around US$ 3560/ton, and very few actual negotiations taking place around US$ 3580-3600/ton.

In terms of RMB too, the Chinese CPL spot market remained weak. While offers from cargo holders was for 28,300-28,400 Yuan/ton, there was very less demand from downstream buyers and they made few bids for around 28,200 Yuan/ton. Very few actual negotiations occurred at price around 28,300 Yuan/ton.
