The spot market of caprolactam (CPL) imports remained quiet on October 8. There were limited offers in the market, with sporadic prices around US$ 3,350/ton (CFR China main port L/C 90 days). Buying from downstream was light, and sporadic bids were for around US$ 3,300/ton. Finally negotiated price was around US$ 3,320-3,350/ton. Overall, actual negotiation was scarce.
In terms of RMB, the CPL spot market was light, with cargo holders rarely making offers. Sporadic offers were around 27,800-28,000 Yuan/ton, and downstream factories made bids around 27,600 Yuan/ton. Actually negotiated price was around 27,800-27,900 Yuan/ton, but actual negotiation was scarce.
