Paraxylene (PX) prices went down sharply in Asian markets. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PX prices were in between US$ 1415/ton to US$ 1440/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1435/ton.
In Asian markets, PTA prices too declined. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1055/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA price was marked in between RMB 8000/ton to RMB 8100/ton.
In S E Asian market, Ethylene price remained stable in the range of US$ 980/ton to US$ 985/ton. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In European domestic market, price was in the range of € 880/ton to € 885/ton. In N W European market, Ethylene price was at US$ 1175/ton (on CIF base). In U.S.A market, Ethylene price was in the range of 50.25 cents/pound to 50.75 cents/pound.
MEG price went down, in S E Asian markets. MEG was offered in the range of US$ 1105/ton to US$ 1110/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 8100/ton to RMB 8400/ton. In U.S.A market offers for MEG was in the range of 50 cents/pound to 51 cents/pound.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price was stable around US$ 1580/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1580/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip offered at RMB 11100/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips prices were marked in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1410/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1425/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 10000/ton to RMB 10100/ton.
PSF price was stable, in Asian market. PSF offers hovered in the range of US$ 1545/ton to US$ 1560/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1555/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers declined in the range of RMB 10800/ton to RMB 10900/ton.
Polyester POY prices in Chinese domestic market remained stable. POY price was at RMB 11300/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers were at to RMB 11900/ton RMB 13600/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1530/ton, US$ 1605/ton and US$ 1845/ton, respectively.
