BP Zhuhai plans to stop production of the PTA plant which has a capacity of 900,000 tons / annum in December, in order to increase capacity.
Meanwhile, the production line with 600,000 tons of PTA capacity will operate normally.
BP Zhuhai recently announced its November PTA settlement price at 8,600 Yuan / ton, down 600 Yuan / ton from its November listing price.
It further said that, its two PTA plants are operating normally, sales are normal and inventories at the plants are at a low level.
