As of November 28, total cotton purchase under national reserves in 2011-12 season reached 930,420 tons.
Of this, 644,280 tons were purchased in Xinjiang and 286,140 tons was inland cotton.
On November 28, of the total plan to purchase 120,000 tons of cotton, actual transactions registered 68,390 tons on the day.
The original plan was to purchase 63,000 tons from Xinjiang warehouses and 57,000 tons from inland warehouses.
