The spot market of caprolactam (CPL) imports was flat on December 01, as cargo holders were reluctant to sell goods at low price. Trading atmosphere appeared poor on the market, market negotiations were scarce.
Market offers were in the range of US $2500-2550 / ton (CFR China main port L/C 90 days), sporadic bids from downstream sector were around $2400-2420/ ton and sporadic negotiations were in the range of $2450-2570 / ton.
The spot market of caprolactam in Chinese domestic marker too was light yesterday as buying interest was scarce in the market.
Cargo holders made offers in the range of 22,800-23,000 Yuan / ton, sporadic bids from downstream sector were around 22,500 Yuan / ton, sporadic discussion was in the range of 22500- 22,800 Yuan / ton.
