Spot market of imported caprolactam (CPL) appeared light on December 5. Trading atmosphere was weak, actual negotiations were scarce.
Sporadic offers were in the range of US $2500-2550 / ton (CFR China main port L/C 90 days), downstream inquires were in the range of $2400-2450 / ton, cargo holders were reluctant to sell at low cost and market negotiation was in the range of $2450-2460 / ton.
Chinese domestic spot market of caprolactam in terms of RMB too was weak yesterday as buying interest looked poor.
Cargo holders offered in the range of 22,800-23,000 Yuan / ton, downstream bids were around 22,500 Yuan / ton, sporadic discussion focused on about 22,600 Yuan / ton.
