China's spot caprolactam (CPL) import market rose slightly. Trading atmosphere was acceptable and actual negotiations were moderate.
CPL spot import offers were about US $2600 / ton (CFR China main port L/C 90 days). Downstream bids were in the range of $2500-2520 / ton and negotiated price was around $2,550 / ton.
On the other hand, China's spot CPL domestic market was flat yesterday on December 20, trading atmosphere looked subdued, actual negotiations were scarce.
Cargo holders offered in the range of 21,300-21,500 Yuan / ton, downstream bids were around 21,200 Yuan / ton and negotiated price ranged between 21,200-21,300 Yuan / ton.
