China's PTA imports registered 497,100 tons in November 2011, from 397,000 tons in its previous month, up 25.60 percent.
PTA imports also rose 21 percent in the same month from a year ago, when it stood at 410,700 tons, revealed customs statistics.
The average import price was US $1,137 / ton in November, down 10.53 percent from monthly average price in October, but representing a 4.5 percent increase over the same period last year.
