South Korean - Tongsuh Petrochemical Corp will undertake maintenance turnaround of its acrylonitrile (ACN) plant in October 2012.
“The Ulsan based plant has two lines with a combined ACN capacity of 315,000 tons per year. Both these lines will go off-stream in October”, a Tongsuh official told fibre2fashion.
He added, Line number 2 has a capacity of 70,000 tons per year and line number 3 has a production capacity of 245,000 tons per year and both the lines are currently running at 80% operating rates”.
“Alongside, we will also be adding another new line number 4, with a production capacity of 245,000 tons per annum”, he concluded by saying.
