Sinopec Group recently announced pre-offers for polyester chips and polyester staple fiber (PSF) under March contracts.
In polyester chips, semi-dull chips are at 11,400 Yuan / ton, bright chips and industrial yarn grade chips are at 11,450 Yuan / ton and dull-class slices are at 12,200 Yuan / ton.
Polyester chip market is still at an adjustment phase, the market is mainly covered with wait-and-see sentiment.
The pre-offers for polyester staple fiber are 12,400 Yuan / ton for 1.4D semi-dull, 12,450 Yuan / ton for 1.2D semi-dull and 13,000 Yuan / ton for 1.2D bright, all on to be delivered terms.
Meanwhile in the Chinese market, 1.4D semi-dull PSF was quoted at 12,000 Yuan / ton, 1.2D semi-dull PSF was at 12,050 Yuan / ton and 1.2D bright was at 12,600 Yuan / ton, all on to be delivered basis.
At present,1.4D polyester staple fiber is quoted at 11600-11700 Yuan / ton (cash or acceptance) in mainstream domestic market, down 200 Yuan / ton compared with the previous week.
