The restart of a naphtha cracker operated by Japan-based Tosoh Corporation has been delayed by seven days.
The naphtha cracker which had been off-stream since March 11 for a scheduled maintenance was originally planned to go on-stream from April 14.
Tosoh operates the ethylene naphtha cracker with a nameplate capacity of 527,000 tons per year.
The delay according to a spokesperson of Tosoh, is to remove oil from a steam pipe in the cracker.
