Paraxylene (PX) prices went up in the global market. In S E Asian countries, PX prices surged up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1565/ton. In F E Asian market, they were quoted in between US$ 1535/ton to US$ 1540/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market also inched up and hovered in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1565/ton.
PTA prices remained stable in the Asia. In F E Asian and S E Asian countries, PTA prices stood around US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1175/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was at US$ 1170/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined slightly and were marked at RMB 8750/ton to RMB 8800/ton.
Ethylene prices remained stable in the Asian market. In S E Asian countries, Ethylene price was assessed at US$ 1420/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene price was quoted at US$ 1415/ton. In U.S.A market, Ethylene price slipped down and was quoted in the range of 64.50 cents/pound to 65.50 cents/pound. In European domestic market, Ethylene price was at € 1230/ton. In European market, Ethylene price was in the range of US$ 1545/ton to US$ 1555/ton.
MEG prices continued to follow the upward trend. In S E Asian markets, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In China market, MEG prices jumped to US$ 980/ton to US$ 990/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG was offered in between RMB 7475/ton to RMB 7525/ton.
In S E Asian countries, BG PET Chips price was quoted stable in the range of US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1575/ton. In F E Asian markets, counter offers for export goods were around US$ 1550/ton. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices were at RMB 11000/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips price was steady in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1475/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices were stable at RMB 10375/ton to RMB 10425/ton.
PSF prices remained stable in Asian market. In F E Asian countries, PSF prices hovered in the range of US$ 1595/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were in the range of US$ 1495/ton to US$ 1500/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were unchanged and stood in the range of RMB 11050/ton to RMB 11150/ton.
In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were marked at RMB 11200/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11300/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY dropped down to US$ 1520/ton, US$ 1705/ton and US$ 1520/ton, respectively.
