Chinese paraxylene (PX) March imports rose marginally from the previous month, but increased massively when compared with a year earlier.
China imported 557,113 tons of paraxylene in March 2012, up 3.11 percent from February. However it surged 39.17 percent over the same period last year.
Import value registered US $909.95 million at an average import price of $1,633 / ton, according to Customs statistics.
