China's spot market of caprolactam (CPL) imports was flat on May 29 and trading atmosphere based on wait-and-watch attitude and actual talk was scarce.
Cargo holders offered in the range of US $2420-2450/ ton (CFR China main port, L/C 90 days), downstream manufacturers bid at about $2,400 / ton and actually negotiated price was in the range of $2400-2420 / ton.
China's domestic CPL spot market consolidated on May 29, although trading atmosphere appeared dull in the market, as offers from cargo holders were scarce.
Sporadic offers were in the range of 19,300-19,500 Yuan / ton, bids from downstream manufacturers were in the range of 19,000-19,100 Yuan / ton and actually negotiated prices were in the range of 19,100-19,300 Yuan / ton.
