Cotton linter trends stable-to-soft in previous week

In the last week, prices of Cotton Linter were stable-to-soft at RMB 3800/ton. Earlier, price opened at RMB 4000/ton. In the last update from market, prices were in the range of RMB 3600/ton to RMB 4100/ton. Trading offers were in between RMB 3500/ton to RMB 4000/ton. Average price for last week was at RMB 3750/ton.

Price of dissolving pulp was stable-to-soft in the previous week. In Chinese domestic market, prices were in the range of RMB 8250/ton to RMB 8350/ton. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1100/ton.

Prices of Pulp imported from U.S, Canada and Spain were in the range of US$ 1100/ton to US$ 1150/ton, whereas price of Pulp imported from Brazil was at US$ 1150/ton while from Russia it was at US$ 1050/ton.

During the reporting week, price of VSF was stable-to-soft at RMB 15750/ton and it opened with a sharp fall in the market. Earlier, price opened in the range of RMB 15750/ton to RMB 15850/ton, but the trading price went down to RMB 15200/ton.

In Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 2.15/kg to US$ 2.20/kg. Market experts believe that price should be range bound around US$ 2.20/kg in the near future.

VFY prices remained stable but also opened with a decline at RMB 44500/ton. Earlier, price opened at RMB 44600/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6350/ton to US$ 6450/ton. In Chinese domestic market, VFY market weakened due to subdued buying interests from downstream manufacturers.
