Chinese CPL trends look underweight on June 14

The domestic caprolactam (CPL) market in East China appeared underweight on June 14.

Cargo holders offered around 18,500 Yuan / ton, downstream manufacturers bid about 18,200 Yuan / ton and actual discussion was around 18,300 Yuan / ton.

China’s spot market of CPL imports was flat on June 14.

Cargo holders made sporadic offers in the range of US $2280-2300 / ton, downstream manufacturers bid around $2,250 / ton and actual negotiation was in the range of $2250-2280 / ton.

China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation cuts its CPL listing price by 800 Yuan / ton for June contracts to 19,000 Yuan / ton.
