Chinese domestic & spot import PTA market subdued

The Chinese domestic as well as spot import PTA market was subdued on June 20.

In the domestic PTA market, offers hovered around 7,400 Yuan / ton, bids were for about 7,300 Yuan / ton and actual discussion was for around 7,350 Yuan / ton.

In East China PTA market, cargo holders offered at around 7,350 Yuan / ton, downstream bids were around 7,250 Yuan / ton and negotiation was in the range of 7,250-7,300 Yuan / ton.

In the spot import PTA market, offers for Taiwanese PTA were in the range of US $945-950/ton, bids were for $935-940 / ton and actual discussion was around $940 / ton.

Market offers for Korean goods were about $935 / ton, downstream manufacturers bid around $920/ ton and negotiation was at around $930 / ton.
