Ethylene prices rise in US, MEG dips in SE Asia

Except for ethylene prices rising in US markets and MEG prices falling in SE Asia, global price trends for both the polyester feedstock raw materials indicate stability on July 10.

Ethylene prices in SE Asia and FE Asia remained unchanged at US $980 per ton on July 10. In the US region, they rose from 41.85-42.35 cents per pound to 42.50-43.00 cents per pound.

In the European international and domestic markets they remained static at $1025 per ton and €880 per ton, respectively.

IN SE Asia, MEG prices fell $10 to $885 per ton. However in the Chinese US dollar market, they hiked by $10 to $890-895 per ton.
