Nan Ya plans turnaround at all four MEG lines

Taiwan-based Nan Ya Plastics plans to undertake maintenance turnarounds at all its four MEG lines located in Mailiao in 2012.

Informing about the schedule, a Nan Ya official told fibre2fashion, “MEG line no - 2 will go in for a turnaround from July to August 2012, while line no - 3 will remain off-stream between September and October 2012”.

He added, “Line no – 1 will remain shutdown in October and November 2012 and turnaround of line no – 4 will take place in November and December 2012. Each of these plants will remain shut for around 40 during the turnaround”.

MEG lines no 1, 2 and 3 have a capacity of 300,000 tons / annum each while line no – 4 has a production capacity of 720,000 tons per annum.
