“One of the big lines of the PET plant will go off-stream in the early part of the fourth quarter”, a Novapet company official told fibre2fashion.
“This maintenance schedule will not affect our PET supplies as we will have enough inventories”, he added.
Novapet operates three PET plants with a total capacity of 260,000 tons per year. Line no-1 has a production capacity of 130,000 tons per annum, line no-2 100,000 tons per year and line no-3 has capacity of 30,000 tons per annum.
