Naphtha cracker of JX Nippon to restart in Sept

Japan-based JX Nippon Oil & Energy which had shutdown its naphtha cracker for a planned maintenance on August 13 plans to restart it by the last week of September 2012.

This was revealed by a senior official of JX Nippon Oil & Energy to fibre2fashion. He said the naphtha cracker would be brought onstream by September 27.

The capacity of the naphtha cracker without SDM is 460,000 tons per annum and by considering SDM it is 400,000 tons per year.
