Chinese VSF market likely to remain range bound

In the last week, prices of Cotton Linter slightly went down to RMB 3400/ton, but later it maintained a stable trend. Market of Cotton Linter opened with a decline at RMB 3350/ton. In the last update from market, prices were in the range of RMB 3300/ton to RMB 3500/ton. Trading offers were in between RMB 3150/ton to RMB 3350/ton. Average price for last week was at RMB 3200/ton.
 
Prices of Dissolving Pulp maintained a steady trend at RMB 7700/ton in the previous week, but market opened in the range of RMB 7600/ton to RMB 7700/ton. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were assessed in the range of US$ 1015/ton to US$ 1020/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from the US were in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1030/ton, while those from Canada were in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$1050/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from Sweden and Russia were at US$ 1000/ton.
 
During the previous week, VSF prices declined at RMB 15300/ton and later maintained a stable trend. Earlier price opened at RMB 15600/ton, but trading price inched down at RMB 15200/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 2.09/kg to US$ 2.13/kg. Market experts believe that prices would remain range bound around US$ 2.10/kg in the near future.
 
Prices of VFY, maintained a stable trend in the range of RMB 43380/ton to RMB 43580/ton in the last week. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6200/ton to US$ 6300/ton. Viscose filament yarn market showed few changes, with producers keeping their offer stable. However, downstream market remained sluggish, trading activities remained moderate and market sentiments were lackluster.
