Chinese cotton linter & VSF prices dip last week

Prices of Cotton Linter inched down to RMB 3200/ton, in the previous week. Earlier market opened in the range of RMB 3200/ton to RMB 3600/ton. In the last update from market, prices were in the range of RMB 3300/ton to RMB 3400/ton. Trading offers were in between RMB 3100/ton to RMB 3300/ton. Average price for last week was at RMB 3200/ton.
 
In the last week, prices of Dissolving Pulp slightly decreased to RMB 7650/ton and later maintained a stable trend. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were assessed in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1020/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from the US were in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1030/ton, while those from Canada were in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$1050/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from Sweden and Russia were stable at US$ 1000/ton.
 
During the previous week, VSF prices opened with a decline of RMB 300/ton at RMB 15300/ton and later maintained a stable trend. Earlier, price opened in the range of RMB 15200/ton to RMB 15400/ton, but trading price declined to RMB 15050/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 2.07/kg to US$ 2.15/kg. Market experts expect the price to remain range bound around US$ 2.10/kg in the near future.
 
Prices of VFY continued to maintain a stable trend at around RMB 43480/ton in the last week. Earlier, market opened in the range of RMB 43430/ton to RMB 43530/ton, but the trading price declined to RMB 43450/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6200/ton to US$ 6300/ton.
