Chinese VSF & VFY prices remain stable-to-soft

Prices of Cotton Linter maintained steady trend at RMB 3000/ton in the previous week. In the last update from market, prices were in the range of RMB 3100/ton to RMB 3400/ton. Trading offers were in between RMB 3000/ton to RMB 3200/ton. Average price for last week was at RMB 3000/ton.
 
In the last week, prices of Dissolving Pulp were stable-to-soft and slightly inched down at RMB 7375/ton. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were assessed in the range of US$ 970/ton to US$ 990/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from the US were in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1020/ton, while those from Canada were in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 1000/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from Sweden and Russia were in the range of US$ 960/ton to US$ 980/ton.
 
During the previous week, VSF prices were stable-to-soft and they slightly went down by RMB 150/ton to RMB 14500 and later maintained a stable trend. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 2.05/kg to US$ 2.10/kg. Market experts predict that price would remain range bound at around US$ 2.10/kg in the near future.
 
Prices of VFY were stable-to-soft in the previous week, but the market opened with a decline of RMB 43200/ton. Earlier, market opened in the range of RMB 43380/ton to RMB 43480/ton, but the trading prices inched down to RMB 43200/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6180/ton to US$ 6280/ton.
