Prices of most products have stabilized in Chinese nylon market in recent times, and markets of only few products, especially nylon chips, are slightly weak.

The market price of low-end nylon POY 85D/24 manufactured in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces is in the range of 23,000-24,000 yuan/ton, in terms of cash payment. There is fair demand from downstream buyers and overall ex-factory price is stable.

The mainstream price of small flexible textured nylon yarn 70D/24 is currently in the range of 25,000-26,000 yuan/ton. Some manufacturers have slightly reduced their production capacity as downstream market finds funds in tight state.

In East China, the market price of nylon staple fibre 1.5D is in the range of 22,000-25,000 yuan/ton, in terms of cash payment. Buyers are mainly placing smaller orders and prices quoted by manufacturers are stable since previous week.
