An official of Showa Denko informed fibre2fashion that contrary to media reports, they will not shut down their naphtha cracker for a turnaround in 2013.
The cracker located in Oita has an ethylene and propylene production capacity of 695,000 tons and 425,000 tons per annum, respectively.
