Zhejiang Huafon Spandex to set up benzene plant

According to a senior official of the company who spoke to fibre2fashion, “They are setting up a new benzene plant in Liaoyang city - Liaoning province and which will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Huafon Spandex”.

He added, “Once the plant is operational, the plant will have a capacity to also produce 120,000 tons of cyclohexanone by the chemical process of benzene and hydrogen cyclohexane oxygen. The plant is expected to realize 1.3 billion Yuan of sales income”.

The company will start construction of the plant in March 2013 and is expected to be set up at an investment of 500 million Yuan.
