Trade volume rises in Chinese cotton yarn markets

Trade volume of 21s, 32s, 40s slightly increased in Shengze and Jiaxing cotton yarn markets in the last week.
 
The prices of polyester/cotton yarn were steady, but the prices of polyester/viscose yarn declined. However, the trade volume of polyester/viscose yarn 40s/2 increased.
 
The prices of polyester yarn 21s, 32s and 45s increased to 14,200 yuan/ton, 15,300 yuan/ton and 16,100 yuan/ton, respectively. Market analysts expect the rising trend to continue in the short term.
 
The prices of rayon yarn slightly declined. However, sales volume of rayon yarn 30s was better than other products. 
 
The prices of viscose staple fibre dipped from 14,000 yuan/ton a week earlier to current range of 13,800-13,850 yuan/ton. Industry insiders expect the market to show an adjustment trend this week.
